An antinuclear antibody (ANA) test is a blood test that checks for antinuclear antibodies in your blood. Antinuclear antibodies are a type of antibody called autoantibodies, which are produced by the immune system and attack healthy cells and tissues.
The ANA test can be performed in two ways:
Indirect immunofluorescence: This test gives two types of results: a titer and a pattern.
Solid-phase assays: This test attaches a panel of autoantigens to a solid surface.

What is Anti Nuclear Antibody (ANA) Test ?
Autoimmune disorders leads to an immune system response that starts killing its own antigens and thus causing self harm. ANA test detects antinuclear antibodies (ANA) in blood by ELISA technology. The test targets certain structures within the nucleus of a cell, it can assist in diagnosing autoimmune disorders
What Does ANA Test measure ?

How is the ANA Test Done ?
